AI Crawler Control + Log by J6 Venture runs entirely inside your own WordPress site. It records automated crawler activity to your site’s own database, transmits nothing to J6 Venture or any third party, and makes no external calls. There is no account, no cloud service and no analytics.
For automated crawler requests to your site, identified by their published user-agent, the plugin records:
GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended).The plugin is built to log bot traffic. It does not track, fingerprint or build profiles of your human visitors, and it does not read the content of your pages or your visitors’ personal data.
All logs are written to your own WordPress database, on your own hosting. You are the data controller. Nothing is copied, mirrored or transmitted off your server.
Nothing leaves your site. The plugin makes no external API calls, contains no analytics or tracking, and never phones home to J6 Venture. It has no cloud component.
When you choose to block a crawler, the plugin applies rules on your own site (such as robots directives and request handling) to turn that crawler away. This too involves no third party and sends no data anywhere.
The plugin uses no third-party services and loads no remotely hosted code. Everything it runs ships inside the plugin package and executes on your server.
Because all data lives on your own server and you control it, you remain the data controller. If your jurisdiction requires it, mention automated-crawler logging in your site’s own privacy policy. The plugin gives you the tools to view, clear and control that data at any time.
The plugin is a site-administration tool for website owners, is not directed at children, and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If the plugin’s data handling ever changes, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be noted in the plugin’s changelog.
