Act as a plain-language editor. Rewrite the following content so it is clearer, more readable, and accessible without losing accuracy or depth.

Target reading level: Grade 8–10 / Professional but non-technical
Original audience: "[ORIGINAL_AUDIENCE]"
New target audience: "[NEW_AUDIENCE]"

[CONTENT]

Apply these rules:
1. Break sentences longer than 25 words into two
2. Replace jargon with plain equivalents (include a jargon-to-plain glossary at the end)
3. Add a one-sentence summary at the start of each section
4. Use concrete examples for every abstract concept
5. Convert passive voice to active
6. Add subheadings every 150–200 words if they don't already exist

Deliver the revised version with a readability score comparison before and after.
